Founder Amanda Cottingham Johnson grew up surrounded by the values of family, friendship, and gathering together to celebrate life’s milestones. Those experiences stayed with her and eventually inspired the vision for Bay Horse Inn — a welcoming estate where others could create memories of their own.
The name “Bay Horse Inn” itself carries a piece of that history, inspired by an etched window that once hung in Amanda’s childhood home. What began as a personal symbol of family tradition has become the name of a place where new traditions are created every weekend.
Since opening in 2016, Bay Horse Inn has grown into one of Indiana’s most sought-after wedding venues. But at its heart, it remains exactly what Amanda hoped it would be — a warm, beautiful setting where couples, families, and friends can come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
Today Amanda, her husband Dallas, and their four children are proud to welcome guests to the property and share the place their family has built with so many others.
